LA Premiere attracts over 500 at Director's Guild

 

The Nazi Drawings Documentary held its Los Angeles Premiere on October 14, 2001 at The Director's Guild Theatre. The documentary was  projected for the first time on 35mm film, followed by Q&A with filmmaker Lane Wyrick and a  panel discussion of prominent artists familiar with Lasansky's work.

The Nazi Drawings documentary was recently transferred to 35mm film by DVFilm in Texas who did an outstanding job of translating to film both excellent  image and sound quality.

 

The film print was shown at the Director's Guild premiere in Los Angeles on October 14 to an audience of over 500, played for a successful week long run at the Laemmle Theatres in LA, October 19-25, 2001 to qualify it for submission into the Academy Awards competition, Short Documentary Category.
